 - After knocking out two enemies that you learn you can see through walls with the Tricorder, you will come to a dead end and need to jump through into a room to the right. In front of you on the console will be this device.
2:50 Helios Device (2 of 3) - After meeting up with Surok and going through a cut scene, scan the nearby console.
3:06 Helios Device (1 of 3) -After the previous scene with Surok, follow the path to your next objective. You will need to go through a door. Just before that door and on the left, scan one of the computer monitors.
3:26 T'Mar's Audio Log #3 - After the previous research item scan, go through the nearby door and look a corner of this room on the ground.
3:40 Surok's Audio Log #2 - At the section where you need to be stealthy to avoid being seen by a lone enemy in a room. Take out the one guy and it'll be through a door in that same room on a crate.
4:00 Vulcan Pulse Cannon - You will eventually make your way to a larger room with a white energy beam in the center. Just to the left as you enter the room will be a pulse cannon on the ground.
Chapter 3 - Surok's Laboratories
4:15 Surok's Audio Log #3 - After taking the next Turbolift, this will be behind the desk on the left in the same room with the access hatch.
4:30 Gorn Brute - You'll know this guy when you see him. Once you defeat this large gorn beast, make sure to scan him.
4:39 T'Mar's Audio Log #4 - After defeating (and scanning) the Gorn Brute, enter the next room and on the ground next to a fallen body will be the audio log.
4:52 Gorn Initiate - In the room where gorns take the Helios device, there will be a few Initiates who attack you. Once defeated, scan one of their bodies.
5:12 Gorn Ravager - In the same room as the previous one. This is the weapon that the Initiates will drop.

5:24 Stun Grenades - After taking the next Turbolift, the game will cut to a person lying on the ground with Stun Grenades next to him.
5:40 Unknown Breaching Tool - After going through the door to exit the room where you picked up the Stun Grenades, keep straight and hidden behind the large climbable boxes in front of you will be this research item.
5:57 Unknown Assault Equipment - This will be in the right corner of the next room that you get attacked in.
6:15 T'Mar's Audio Log #5 - After clearing the room and getting the previous Assault Equipment, you'll head down a hallway and on the right is a door you can enter with it on a table
6:33 Unknown Hacking Tool - In that same hallway you just came down, this hacking tool will be next to the ammo refill station on the corner of the wall.
6:46 Surok's Audio Log #4 - In a side room off to the left of the room with the electrified water. Raise the platforms so you can climb around the room.
7:10 T'Mar's Audio Log #6 - After leaving the area with the electrified water, you will reach hallway that you can have your partner boost you up into so you can drop down into another room. It's the same room where you need to get the power cell. It'll be across the room opposite of where the power cell is.
Chapter 5 - Vulcan Escape
7:30 Surok's Audio Log #5 - This will be in the same room that you heal Kirk's leg. Along the outer there will be a bunch of beds. It'll be on one of them.
7:43 T'Par Memorial - After leaving the area where you fixed Kirk's leg, you will head back out to a large open area with a statue like structure in the middle. Scan the middle of this structure
8:00 Sh'Tok Memorial - The same as before, except head around to the front of it and at the base will be a large plaque that can be scanned. .

0:17 Vulcan Cactus Cluster – Once you get to the Vulcan planet, turn around and not far behind you will be this item laying on the ground in a corner.
0:30 Vulcan Desert Grass – Once you get the previous scan, turn around and you will find this just ahead on the ground on the left
0:40 New Vulcan Avian Scavenger – As you approach the building look on top of it. There will be your first creature scan perched on the roof.

1:05 Tribble #2 – Once you hack your way into the building you will come to a large room. As soon as you exit the opposite door look to the left along the face of the cliff to find the second Tribble

1:37 Unknown Structural Damage – As you make your way around the next room to the right, you will see some green splatter on the wall with a dead person in hunched over in front of it. Scan this area.
