Don’t you find it kind of contradictory that they take the time to make
this STEALTH BASED game yet attribute TIME to most of the S rank score? So
fucking stupid given the fact that they’re asking people to rush through
the game to reap the rewards. Konami is retarded in that aspect.

You also get a big bonus for not using reflexes. might help if you need som
time.

Please do more, Very helpful especially on the later missions if this game
is like the 1 hour trial when I perfected that.

Just read the trophg list. In a game series primarly about destroying Metal
Gears, which are designed to launch nukes (I belive?), in this game you
have to option to create a nuke. What are you on Snake.

I am getting the game today. One thing that does worry me is that I see
it’s only 27GB on PS Store. I don’t think this game is going to keep me
busy for very long unless you replay missions

How many missions are there where you need a S RANK?

just curious, how many platinums do you have?

Why don’t you encounter the Skulls after rescuing Kaz?

Did you get it early or is the game out?

if I go to the village and get the intel, and then i replayed the mission
without getting the intel and got a s rank, will i still keep my intel?

I can’t find that rough diamond in the Spugmay Ruins.

If its your first time playing through the mission you don;t get the option
of setting an extraction point. I had to restart the whole game – reinstall
it and when i tried for the S rank. The option of chopper isnt there. So
guess you can;t get an S rank first go through :(

For the optional objectives, do you need complete them all at once for
100%? Or can you replay missions and just do the objectives you miss?

You say that time is important, but when i was doing mission 11 ( the Quiet
mission) i spent 20 minutes trying to get around a mountain range and
another 15 tring to fight her, but i got a S rank… pls xplain.

On PC, after patches, they don’t allow you to call for an extract
helicopter. So, I’m guessing you can’t use this method on your first play
through? I did however get an S regardless of being chased by the Skulls. 3
hits taken, 0 alerts (but still got 0 bonus???).

Also when replaying missions when you’re nearing the end of the game, or
beat the game already, things like mines, helmets, and body armor show up
in the early missions.

What about the skulls?

First of all you suck at this game

Second the time bonus isn’t significantly different, certainly not enough
to warrant blowing through the entire fucking mission

Third when you’re playing for the first time you can’t call in the
helicopter to a different spot there’s no option for that

Question who here considers them self a ps expert

I know there is at least one suit/armor set you can get that requires all S
ranks on the missions but I don’t really care about getting max score..I’m
sure mine will be low because I will be going the “explore
everything/stealth” approach and since time is a MAJOR factor (which it
shouldn’t be) my score will mots likely be around c-b..maybe a if I’m
lucky. What I’d like to know is is there any gear (bionic
arm/weapons/ammo/recruits etc) that I can’t get because of my mission
score?

…The biggest revelation this video had for me is that you can change the
LZ that the game set for you, and just skip the whole Skulls scenario. And
also that approach vector into the village, the path of least resistance.

Did this mission in 6:04 and got 147371 just under 1000 more then this guy.
The one thing that took away points was that I got hit once and had a
combat alert.

Damn! I played this mission for 2 hours or more (and got B rank, too, but
completed only 1 objective.). I met the skulls and damn, I just ran past
through them. I’m not really familiar with the game, though. I didn’t know
that you can change the extraction point. I played the game because I saw
the trailer and the graphics were very very good.
