You control the Swarmers, a highly aggressive insectoid species, who must kill and consume humans in order to expand your army to repel the Galactoil Corporation from your homeworld. As you gain more biomass (the fleshy currency converted from eating humans), your grunts can be transformed into new more specialised units with different roles and unique abilities.
You must sneak, kill and consume your way up the 7 levels of the Galactoil Drill thwarting the plans set in place by the game’s two main antagonists – PA Pecker and RM Dickinham.T

ReplySame creators of Monstrum… Wonder if we’re ever getting a continuation.
ReplySo…
ReplyXCOM but the roles are reversed.
Eh, what planet are we attacking? Because it can’t be anything from our solar system sustaining sufficient or Intelligent life. Plus, I would think these “aliens” defending their home world would have to be inferior sentients or civilization than us because how exactly do humans win otherwise, assuming we’re bringing our own tech to the invasion? I mean really, not even really a fare fight because home field advantage, presumably.
ReplyAnyone else getting the feeling that this might be the sort of situation that actually happens.
ReplyGetting some pseudo-Evil Genius vibes from this. Might try it out!
