there are still fundamental problems wtih SFV. I hope this update fixes them because I want to like SFV, but honestly after the shitshow that was SFVs launch, and now MvCI I can’t say I have high hopes.

I hope Capcom prove me wrong because I honestly think Ultra SFIV (despite any problems which it had) is the most enjoyable fighting game I’ve ever played.

It’s FREE if you already own the game. $40 if you don’t, but it’ll come with 2 years of DLC included. It’s NOT only just Arcade Mode, either. It’ll have new V-Triggers, Extra Battle Mode, and a UI overhaul. So in Arcade Edition, you get more than simply an Arcade Mode. You get other modes, new game mechanics, new look, new feel. It’s essentially the “SUPER” version of SFV, just with a different title.

I think people want Street Fighter V to be bad, because they are updating the game, adding characters, adding new mechanics, new stages, new modes and people still complaining and downvoting the video. AND IT IS FREE FOR SF V OWNERS

I’m not much of a SF fan, but I feel like this game really isn’t worth it when you have to wait 2 YEARS for a simple offline game mode. I mean it’s free that’s at least a good thing (I bet you they’ll charge $4.99 for it, because capcom) and it isn’t like MWR, (Legacy Pro and the Stand-alone edition) where you paid an extra $20, ($30 during the month of December, and $40 right now for the physical edition) but this would actually turn me away from this game. Think about if Mortal Kombat did this? What if Smash Bros did this? Imagine how many people would be furious about that, it is a simple mode to put in there, and a entaining mode to have when you don’t want to play online. And Capcom MESSED that up? SF5 was already not going to be a good entry in the series anyways. This thing is still better then the MWR thing tho.

I just hope this update has an intro an ending for the arcade … Otherwise it will be as aimless as the current modes … maybe the $60 invested will now pay off and SF will be as fun for everyone as it used to be. Thanks ONO!

All this version does is unlock all characters without having to earn them in game. The additional content will be free to all. We knew this was coming ppl! Capcom still kept their promise to not lock content and characters behind a paywall even if you have to grind fights for em.

So many mixed reactions. I own the original(Dlc version). So do I need to spend money on the season passes, or do I get all of the dlc characters free? If I do get all the dlc characters for free, I will absolutely reinstall. If I don’t, then how much for the season passes now? Some say you still have to pay for dlc characters, some say you don’t, wtf is going on.

J’ai si mal au cul d’avoir payé le season pass 1 et le season pass 2 … J’avais fais le cauchemar que Capcom nous encule avec SFV avant de l’acheter mais visiblement j’ai vu juste.

I was about to get pissed and thumbs down the video until I saw free update, However, I’m still wary of u Capcom this better not be some greedy ploy.

I want this so badly. I didn’t purchase street fighter V but was planning to. But now i just have to wait a bit and i get all the things i would have had to spend hundreds of dollars and sink hundreds of hours into i can get or $40.

I regret buying the game initially. This sucks!!! They should make arcade mode downloadable DLC for people who already have the initial game!!

Finally an arcade mode and new V-triggers in extra content that’s exactly what this game needs because this game is fun but it had no replay value whatsoever now it does I can’t wait to get it.

And for people who can’t read/research, ALL Season 1 & 2 characters are included for FREE. It says so at the end of the trailer and Yoshinori Ono also confirmed this on his latest video.
