Street Fighter is a classic. It’s one of the best if not the best fighting series of all time. Most fighters that came after it emulated it in some way. I’ve been playing this game since I was in freshman in high school and I’m still playing it now. The only critique I have is that the story needs to move foward and expand. SF3 probably was too drastic of a change for most people but I would like to see Ryu and Ken get older or something. Ryu learns to control the dark hadao or something. They need to move the story foward. They can start a whole animated series on it. This series is capable of so much more. Capcom needs to capitalize on the success it’s having right now.

Hmm To bad it’s a digital code so even if you do buy it physically you still have to download all the updates and characters if you want a physical copy. Not worth it.

I’ve never played Street Fighter V when it originally came out 2 years ago, because I didn’t have a PS4 then. Also, I heard bad reception on the game. Two years later, I finally have a PS4, so I want to ask everyone if this version of the game is worth getting.

I’m very confused about earning all future characters for free.
Does it mean that they will be available to be bought with fight money or real money like in vanilla or does it mean that it’s completely free?
Somebody please let me know although I assume it’s the former…

CONGRATULATIONS Capcom! It only took nearly two years for you to release the game we all wanted that I don’t care to play anymore. I get it – there will always be fanboys excusing anything their beloved developers and game franchise do. I’ve never wanted to get rid of a digital game so badly in my life. The package should of been labeled “Street Fighter V – NFC, The game you wanted from the start.” Not for casuals.

I’m confused here I’m new to street fighter. It says that you will get future dlc characters for free right? But it clearly says you need to grab the season 3 pass in order to get the characters in the future. So which is it do I need to PURCHASE a season 3 pass in order to be able to use cody and sagat etc? When it clearly says it will be released for free in the future.

“Earn all future DLC characters for free” – by “all future DLC”, they mean “season 3 characters” or really “ALL future dlc”, including seasons 3, 4, etc? I don’t need ALL future DLC, but making players somehow “pay” again for characters that should be in the disc, is a shame, again. ¬¬

SFV Console Edition. Street Fighter is no longer an arcade style game, its like Moron Kombat re-designed to be gamepad friendly for home consoles. Tekken is the only real arcade style game thats left.

So can I buy the game now that it’s “complete”? Or should I still wait for arcade edition 2?
