I will never understand how some people’s minds work. The season pass is mainly for a ton of costumes. And possibly a couple of characters. Yet I see people basically saying “$92 pass for all of the optional costumes? I’m not buying the game”.

You people act like moves and combos are locked behind the season pass. It’s optional. And it’s mainly cosmetics.

I mainly use Kokoro and Phase 4. I don’t need costumes for the whole cast and I don’t need every costume released. I buy the costumes I like for those characters. That’s what optional means. You buy the stuff you want, and don’t buy the stuff you don’t want.

$92 season pass, with more season passes to come. Stay clear of this game bois

Guys, the season pass is for costumes. No one’s expected to actually buy the season pass, or any DLC. The base game will be worth the time and money by itself.

The Season pass is gross. I hope sell all the individual costumes separately, there are probably only 2-3 costumes for 2-3 characters i play as that i’d actually like, but i fear they may be locked behind gross bundles like that.

About the season pass, $92 dollars is absurd price but it’s mostly optional cosmetics and totals to about a $1 per outfit (62 outfits) and $15 per character (with 2 new characters) and technically cheaper than hundreds of dollars required to buy hundreds of outfits in past games. That considering it’s not a bad deal by comparison, DoA was always known for having tons of outfit options mostly available as paid DLC and no one is forcing you to buy the season pass noi (since unlike some games, it doesn’t sound super critical to enjoying the main game.) At least, the initial roster of fighters game launches with seems big (judging by thumbnail of characters) and doesn’t lock half of them behind DLC paywall which would be more egregious example of MTX (cough Blazeblue Cross Tag Battle cough.) People who complain about season pass sound like they were already on fence, likely not to buy game to begin with and now are using high season pass price as final reason/biggest excuse to not buy.

Dead or Alive: $92 Season Pass Edition

92 dollars that gets you 2 new Characters and 62 costumes.

Does DoA ever do a complete edition say like what NRS does with their games. Don’t know much about the DoA series, but I don’t feel comfortable buying a game with a $92 season pass at launch when all I know, a year from now a complete edition will be released with everything for $60.

All the costumes and 2 characters held hostage for $90.

Dead or Alive 6 would have made it on the Evo roster if it wasn’t for the $90 season pass

However from what i heard sony won’t allow the game to be released in America so the only way to play it in English is via a European import copy which will play on a American ps4.
