A Plague Tale: Innocence debuts eight minutes of new uncut gameplay footage
Asobo Studio’s debut new IP, A Plague Tale: Innocence, premieres on May 14, taking you on an adventure through medieval, wartorn and plague-ridden France with siblings Amicia and Hugo. A new gameplay trailer showcases world-first footage of a brand-new level, showing off a little more of what the game has to offer- careful use of the environment, puzzle-solving, and how light, darkness, and the rats are friend and foe in tandem. Amicia must make it to the University, past the Inquisition’s worst and through a town racked with chaos – all to find a glimmer of safety in this dark, brutal world.
This is just a taste of everything that awaits in the full-game, where your wits, your ability to explore, Amicia’s crafting skills, and her partnership with Hugo are all that will keep the pair alive. Hugo is not your own companion on this adventure, with those orphaned by the war and the sickness banding together to try to survive – will everyone manage to see the light of day once again?
Asobo Studio and Focus Home Interactive can’t wait to get A Plague Tale: Innocence into your hands on May 14, on PlayStation 4. A labour of love from a studio with combined decades of experience in game development, it is an emotional tale packed with mystery, intrigue, and swarming, as ever, with rats.
A Plague Tale: Innocence launches May 14 on PlayStation 4

ReplyAt last a linear story driven experience. I love my open world RPG grind games. But I love my storydriven games just as much. To little story driven games this Gen. I hope next gen brings more of this to the table then just big empty maps with zero to do.
ReplyLike every other stealth based Western title…
Natasha dies.
Tony Stark dies.
Capt America returns the infinity stones and hands over his shield.
ReplyNot for me. Can’t handle rats.

ReplyAll the people i still see that complain about video game AI even with the technology we have you need to understand that
ReplyYou have 3 years to make a game and have 100 people, 30 of which are your programmers. You then get to a point where you can either let the programmers write AI using what is essentially a standard template and get it done efficiently and quickly so they can move onto programming the world/physics/movement etc. Your other choice is to allow a group of those programmers to spend their time
Finding a way to improve AI, however this takes them out of the action for enough time that another game feature won’t get put in because of it.
For those that dont understand programming exceptional AI is extremely difficult and very very time consuming so all games use the Same basic template because they just dont have the time or resources to push out crazy AI. If the AI in this game was whathalf of you wanted then we probably wouldnt have ever seen half of the dynamics, Interface, etc that we have seen in the gameplay videos..
I can’t even afford days gone
ReplyThis is a AAA game not Anthem etc.
Reply7.8 – Too many rats
