You play as Karl Fairbourne during WWII. The game features 51 trophies (Hunt of the Grey Wolf adds an additional 10). This is a guide for several of the trophies in Sniper Elite III

Sniper Elite 3 also features the following trophies that can be done on any level

Charlie’s Challenge Get a testicle-shot from over 100m

This is easiest done right at the beginning of the game in mission 1. After clearing out a couple spotters, you will take position just a little bit further away. Use your binoculars and you’ll spot a guy way out in the distance. He will be over 100m away. You can create a save point before firing your shot, and if you miss shooting him in the testicles, restart last save. If you need further assistance, you can wait until you have an upgraded scope and replay this mission through mission select.

Hidden and dangerousComplete a campaign mission without being seen (excluding Tobruk)

I did this on the second mission. You can see the path I took and how I accomplished this in the video above. Avoid all necessary contact with enemies whenever possible. If you must shoot someone, use your silenced pistol. Enemies can notice something is awry or find a hidden body and as long as they don’t spot you you’ll be fine. As long as the circle above their heads remain yellow and doesn’t fully turn red, you’re in the clear. The easiest way to do this is to create manual save points often. After each section, or after each encounter, create a save. If you then get spotted, reload your last save and try again. This is far easier to do on Cadet difficulty.

There is one trophy that is mission specific in each of the 8 missions in the game. Those trophies are:

Mission 1 – Siege of Tobruk
Ghost of TobrukClear the mountain pass without alerting the enemy

You will get to the mountain pass and disable a series of artillery guns. You must sneak around and take out enemies with either your silenced pistol (Welrod) or with a stealth melee takedown from behind. At each of the gun locations, there will be a couple guys loading and firing the gun and one other keeping watch. Silently take down the one keeping watch and then you can use your Welrod and shoot the explosive crate behind each gun. Do that at each of the locations. If you find the need to fire your sniper rifle (for whatever reason) make sure to do it when the sound is concealed by the enemy firing. In the center of the area between each of the guns, there will be a tent with an officer in it and another roaming guard nearby. Be careful when approaching this area and take these two out before blowing up each of the nearest two gun locations.

Mission 2 – Gaberoun
Well, well, well – Hide a body in each of the wells in Gaberoun

There are four wells. The first one will be near the second officer you need to take the war diary from and the next one will right as you enter the next section to the right. The third one will be near the second one, a little further up and on the left side of the street. The final one will be east of the officer located in the middle of the map, behind a truck. All you need to do to earn this trophy is throw a body into the well. Use X to pick up a body and carry it to the well and hit triangle to throw it. Watch the video above if you need to see where each of the locations are at specifically.

Mission 3 – Halfaya Pass
End of the ‘Lein’ – find and kill the visiting general

This will require you to find two specific war diaries that are part of this optional objective. These are the 3rd and 5th war diaries if you saw the mission 3 collectible video. You need to acquire both of these in a single playthrough of the level. Once you have found both of them, you need to progress until you get to the third artillery gun in the northern most part of the map. You will see a bunch of trucks to the right and a fence to the left as you approach the area. You will need to shoot across the valley to blow up the gun. Before you do all that, use your binoculars and spot and tag the general. Then simply kill him and this trophy is yours.

 Mission 4 – Fort Rifugio
I Fort this would be difficult – Get to the informant without being spotted.

This will require you to traverse the first open section and get into the castle without being spotted. Once in the castle, you’ll need to make your way to the jail cell where the informant is being held captive. Follow the video above for a good, fast and easy run to the informant. Assuming you make it to his location without being spotted, you will earn this trophy.

Mission 5 – Siwa Oasis
I Siwa you did there – Make the target officer’s death look like an accident.

At the end of Siwa Oasis, you will need to use your binoculars to target and tag the officer who will be getting the intel. All three of them will come together. Once you have identified your target, you will need to follow him while he walks off and grabs the intel. You will then need to kill him and take the intel but if you make it look like an accident, you will get the trophy. To make it look like an accident, keep following him after he gets the intel and at the end of his path, he will walk near an explosive item that you need to shoot that will blow up the nearby objects and the officer himself.

There are three officers and which one you will need to follow will be random. Each of their paths will be different, but what you need to do is the same. Just follow him until the end of the line and blow him up with the explosives. To make this 10x easier, before you climb up to get a vantage point on the officer’s meetup, clear out the entire level of enemies. You don’t want to be spotted by a random enemy who will then alert the officer which will make you fail the objective.

Mission 6 – Kasserine Pass
Double TapIncapacitate 2 vehicles in Ksserine pass within 5 seconds

During this mission, you will need to make your way into a temple (located in the northeast corner of the map). Clear out all the enemies in this area and a half-track will drive around.  You need to incapacitate this vehicle. Once you have done that, another vehicle full of soldiers will pull up to the temple. Kill the soldiers, but do not destroy the truck. We’ll need that for later. After doing that, continue doing the main objectives and at some point, you will need to destroy a Tiger Tank. Once you’ve destroyed that tank, a second vehicle will now spawn near that temple. Head back to the temple and you will see the two vehicles and you just need to destroy them within 5 seconds of each other. Shooting their gas tanks will do the trick.

Mission 7 – Pont Du Fahs Airfield
Three birds, one stoneDestroy all 3 bomb dumps at the same time.

On the East side of the 7th mission map, there will be three bomb dumps. This will come up as an optional objective when you get near and they’ll be labeled on the map. You just need to blow them up simultaneously to get the trophy. To do that, you want to place some explosives between the middle bomb dump and the ones on the left and right. You can use dynamite, land mines or S mines. This will cause a chain reaction explosion to the left and right bomb dump when you shoot the red barrel in front of the middle bomb dump.

Mission 8 – Ratte Factory
Three birds, one stone – Destroy all 3 bomb dumps at the same time

This is really easy. You just need a bridge and a dead body. There are a ton of bridges in this mission and you will create a ton of dead bodies. At some point during the mission, just pick up one of those bodies with X and walk over a bridge and throw him off of it with the triangle button. You can earn this within the first few minutes of the mission.

    Hi,

I wanted to say I’ve been following your trophy guides for quite awhile and this is another excellent guide. I find you to be one of the best trophy guiders around and I also like how you tend to get straight to the point and avoid spoilers.

One thing that would be cool on this website is if you had some kind of discussion board/forum that people could chat about games, discuss tips and other stuff. I think it would be a great thing to see.

Anyway keep up the good work 😀

Who was the goddamned ROCKET SCIENTIST that made every single video start playing when the page was navigated to? That is BEYOND annoying.
