Personal Blog – Thank you 60,000 times and a reflection on the past year

I’ve been busy at work trying to put all the red bricks from LEGO The Hobbit together and somehow, it snuck up on me that I crossed 60,000 subscribers. I really want to thank everyone for the support, for the people who like my videos (there’s several of you who do it on all my videos without watching at all), and send me all the messages on PSN, Twitter and on YouTube.  When I started the channel last April, I was going through a really bad period of my life. I lost a lot of what I had at the time and it was really hard to get through a day. I nearly quit playing video games all together. They were such a huge part of my life but with the troubles I was going through, I didn’t even want to pick up my PS3 controller.

I picked up a little hobby with video editing slightly before that time and it was then that I decided to video edit trophy videos more regularly. I had done some previously, but not on the scale that it would be today. It was after uploading a bunch of videos and getting so much support and appreciation from the people on the YouTube comment sections that I started feeling better about myself and that helped me through a really hard time in my life. Without you, I don’t know where I would be today.

I’m less than a week away from celebrating my 1 year anniversary of PS4Trophies. Looking back, I’ve come a long ways from the person that I was and I don’t know what road I could have ended up down. You lifted me up, and I vow to return the favor. I’m not sure what I’ll do for that Anniversary, but I’m looking for ways to give back to the people who unknowingly made my life so much better.

Also, a big apology to those who have sent me PSN messages in the past couple of weeks. Up until then, I responded to 99% of all PSN messages which reaches well over 50 on a normal day. Unfortunately, I have not been able to do that of late and it’ll be impossible to go back and respond to the old messages while keeping up with the current messages. I really do apologize and I’ll be able to get back to responding on PSN shortly.
