Star Trek Online, the free-to-play MMORPG based on the beloved science-fiction franchise, is coming to PlayStation 4. For the first time ever, PlayStation 4 players will be able to explore new worlds as they create their own captain and take the helm of iconic ships based on the Star Trek franchise. Star Trek Online will launch in fall 2016 for PlayStation 4 and be available for free.
Star Trek Online is a free-to-play massively multiplayer online game where players can pioneer their own destiny as Captain of a Federation starship, become a Klingon Warrior and champion the Empire through the far reaches of the galaxy, or rebuild the Romulan legacy as the commander of a Romulan Republic Warbird. Its last expansion, Star Trek Online: Delta Rising, brought players into the Delta Quadrant and reintroduced them to iconic members from the Star Trek: Voyager cast including Seven of Nine, The Doctor, Harry Kim, Neelix and Tuvok. In Star Trek Online players have the opportunity to visit iconic locations from the popular Star Trek universe, reach out to unexplored star systems and make contact with new alien species.

It aint bad..people probably have some fun with the space battle stuff. If
I remember ground based stuff was clunky. But it was alright game. Don’t
think a lot seeing this realize this is old game now lol. Plus its just
another f2p option for console which is nice. This might mean Champions
Online is coming too!

This was unexpected, but certainly not unwelcome. I loved playing this on
PC until my machine could not keep up, so to be able to play it on PS4 and
for free is great news indeed.
This game is a great continuation of the Star Trek prime timeline and
anyone who likes star trek will like it.
Also, these graphics look more like PC than PS4, so I bet they will be more
polished looking at launch.

Omg they should’ve teamed up with no man’s sky and call of duty, that game
would’ve been so awesome, an fps/rpg/open world (universe).
Back then, you use credits to get ships when you’re almost lvl 50.

Wonder how much more PWI is going to fudge up STO. The game was good when
it was subscription on PC, then it went F2P and they butchered a lot. Dont
even want to think about how they are going to do the ship controls with a
