Never played star ocean so I’m definitely getting this.

the only star ocean i like is 4. At the time of release it gave me a feeling of adventure that i want from jrpgs. The characters were interesting and the combat was fun too!

I’m a huge fan of Star Ocean so I’m stocked for this but come on Squareenix, we have Star Ocean 1,3,4 and 5 on PS4 where’s my favorite Star Ocean 2? I wanna see Claude and Rena again the game is already available in Japan so I really don’t understand why we never got it.

This looks awesome. Ive played the one for ps2, till the end of time, and i did not really like the gameplay, but this is significantly different. Reminds me of the early tales series.

Played this on PSP and adored it, had the PS1 and PSP version of the second game and adored that too. Will most liley buy this on both PS4 and Switch. I love me some old school Star Ocean.

Bit disappointed that they didn’t create new character models to match with their new portrait images too. I’m excited obviously, but that’s a bit of wasted opportunity 🙁

Not sure why they had to change Ilia’s design so drastically in comparison to the others. Her original design looked better and more cuter in all honesty.

And as for the Voice Overs, I’m surprised to see that there are two different Japanese actors too. Makes me hope that the game allows you to customize it to where you could choose which character has which one of their portraits shown off and which seiyuu is voicing them.
