Dragons have returned to Tamriel, and this time they’re even more magnificent. The ancient creatures who soared through the skies in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim will soon come to full life in virtual reality. Announced at Sony’s E3 2017 Media Showcase, Skyrim is headed to PlayStation VR this November.
Skyrim VR takes the full game (plus all of the official add-ons: Dawnguard, Hearthfire and Dragonborn) and reimagines the complete epic fantasy with an unparalleled sense of scale, depth and immersion.
Skyrim VR puts you in the role of the Dragonborn – the prophesied hero who can harness the power of dragons. From battling ancient dragons to exploring rugged mountains and more, Skyrim VR brings to life a complete open world for you to explore any way you choose.

ReplyI never get tired of this game.
Replycool beans!
ReplyPeople are complaining about bethesda but this is just the game the vr needs to get new people. Like seriously how can it not be cool riding a dragon on vr?!?
Replynew game we need new one
ReplyIs there mod support still ?
ReplyWe want VI not VR…
ReplyHoly mother of…amazing!
ReplyHow do u move
ReplyOr ya know just work on a new elder scrolls, maybe a remaster of fallout 3 and nv?
ReplyLooks like a mobile game, sucks they aren’t doing this only on vive like Fallout 4.
ReplySkyrim is now playable on: Xbox 360 and One, Playstation 3 and 4, PC, Nintendo Switch, Oculus rift (I think), PS VR. Thats 7, is that a record? Excluding backwards compatibility
ReplySkyrim for psvr but not fallout 4? I’d buy this but why not fallout 4?
ReplyI’m really hoping this is Move controlled. But if so, how would we move around?
ReplyI remember jokingly saying how dangerous a VR release of this would be for someone like me…
Reply.. it will be like being in skyrim :O
This actually looks really cool 😀
ReplyThose utters are drying up
ReplyAll they had to do was walk on stage, show a picture that said skyrim vr, and boom everyone wants a psvr.
ReplyBut can it be released for the Vive too?
ReplyCan i just play with my controller with the headset on seeing everything? Imean i have the controller memorized i been playing jt since 2001
ReplyNext year: SKYRIM is available exclusively in Nokia 3310 with 8 bit edition!!! For only $60, of course.
ReplySkyrim came out in 2011
ReplyThe best work out is when you kill Dragons
ReplyThis is what all VR games should be like- to this degree of quality or more
ReplyI’m not an Elder Scrolls guy, but I’m surprised people aren’t more excited about this. If Fallout 4 came to PSVR I’d be super excited by it.
ReplyAnother proof that great games don’t fade away
ReplySome of these controls seem like they are being done with motion controls, I hope some moves with joysticks get announced with it
ReplyYesssssssssssss !
ReplyThis is terrible!
ReplyThis is terrible!
ReplyThis is getting silly now and look at the price tag….jesus
ReplySkyrim at E3?
Checks callender.
Reply0:24 haha what scrub uses lightning instead of fire on a frost troll?
Replyomg hype
ReplyBought vr a day before seeing this!
ReplyThis better be available in a update not a stand alone game.
ReplyI never saw his title coming! What a awesome game for PSVR! can’t wait to play this. Finally an big open world game for VR
Replywait, will this be an update for the special edition thats already out or a standalone game?
ReplyI won’t lie I’m buying the VR set for this.
If only we had mods on ps4 :/
ReplyIf I can’t sit down in a pub, grab a bottle, and drink from it without the item menu. I ain’t buying…
I want to be FULLY immersed.
ReplyVR games look so bad, all of them.
ReplySkyrim is a great game! Have they considered making, oh, I dunno, ANOTHER single player Elder Scrolls game???? (By the Nine, please no more online bs!)
ReplyThank god i didn’t bought vr bundle…
ReplyAm I gonna have to buy this separately? Cuz I’m not buying this game again. Please be an upgrade for Special Edition ;-;
ReplyDISAPPOINTED
ReplyCan’t wait to see 10 min Skyrim loading screens in VR!!
ReplyIts weird to read the comments, people complaining about Skyrim being released must not be PSVR owners. I for one cant wait and I have played Skyrim to death, but to experience it in VR is going to be amazing. Playing though Resident Evil 7 with VR is completely different than without VR, I imagine it will be the same. Though Ill know the locations and world really well by now, visiting in VR will make it new again. VR needs games like this!
ReplyOfficially going to kms because I have Xbox
ReplyI saw this being for PlayStation and was pretty sad… And then I watched the gameplay…
ReplyI’m actually ok with this xD
This is the Best VR game ever!
ReplyThis game is 6 years old. It was and still is a great game. But it is looking a bit dated now. I want to throw an Orc out of a window like Todd Howard said he did about 7 years ago!
ReplyKeep on milking skyrim, those udders outta be puffing dust by now.
ReplyIs this available for PC too?
ReplyIVE ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS WANTED TO LIVE IN SKYRIM. NOW I CAN, NOW I CAN. (Sheds a tear).
Replyhow would you move with the controllers?
ReplyThis is an RPG in the truest sense!
ReplyTbh this is actually pretty cool, but sucks that TES 6 isn’t in development.
ReplyEwwwww
ReplyWell, even though I haven’t got VR it still is AWESOME (Please stop making jokes about “Milking Skyrim”)
Replydo i need to buy skyrim agan if i have it already if i want ta play vr versio?
ReplyTra quando esceeeee
ReplySkyrim on dreamcast, make it happen bethesda!
ReplyThis is gonna be amazing
Replythoroughly been milked
ReplyFeel like it’s a great idea, but the hands look a little off, especially on spells. Hopefully something modders or future patches will clean up (hopefully not for £30 :P) Aside from the off looking view, doesn’t look too bad. Better than FO4 looked when they showed the guy using the Gattling Laser, I wanted to burn something. lol
Guess we’ll not be looking forward to PSVR FO4 anytime soon.
ReplySkyrim is the weakest of the elder scrolls series
ReplyShut up and take my money :O
ReplyThis is maybe the greatest thing that has ever happened in the entire universe since the dawn of time, I think I’ll hold off from hanging myself in my garden shed this December after all.
ReplyGame came out in 2011. It’s time to move on Bethesda.
ReplySo this only on Playstation VR and Fallout 4 is only on HTC vive?
ReplyThis looks so clunky to play. Who knows maybe it will be awesome, but ehh lol
ReplyOh no, Bethesda are releasing their remaster on multiple platforms! How evil of them! It’s bad enough when other devs release on multiple platforms but this takes the biscuit! How dare they make the game more available!!!
ReplyThis will be on VIVE, too, right?
ReplyGlad i skipped the remaster, I’d be pretty pissed off if I had to buy it a third time!
ReplySkyrim begs Todd Howard to kill him. Todd Howard refuses, keeping him alive.
Replythey may be milking skyrim, but thank god we can have this game in vr.
Replynormal copy will work with VR or I need new one?? anyone?
ReplyWill this actually be a separate game to the special edition already out or will it be an additional gameplay option so you can jump between VR and regular skyrim?
ReplyLooking forward to this
ReplyFML is this a PSVR exclusive?
ReplyFor real though, how will xXxBoxxXx compete? Are they just gonna sell “raw power”? Or do you guys think xbox is making a VR device as well? Or at least make it capable with rift or vive
Replyis it just for ps vr or it htc and oculus rift.
ReplyI think song game famous this skyrim
ReplyMight be a stupid question but is this going to be like resident evil VII, Skyrim special edition with vr support or a standalone game?
ReplyThis will only be worth it if it supports those Omni treadmills.
Replyas a owner of the Virtuix Omni i assure you it’s better off with out it.
ReplyWhy waste time on VR lite when you could release it for the real deal?
Reply5 years after Oblivion, Skyrim came out. It’s almost been 6 years since Skyrim came out. Where’s the new elder scrolls, Bethesda?
ReplyHow do you move around?
ReplyPeople are only complaining about Skyrim being “milked” because they’re not ready to purchase an expensive VR system to play it. There’s plenty of other franchises out there that have been milked for decades and no one complains about those games. (Examples: Mario, Sonic, Kirby, Cod, Final Fantasy, Assassins Creed). Their only reason to hate on Skyrim/Fallout VR is only due to the financial barrier from bringing it into their own homes. Im super excited for both and cannot wait.
ReplySoon enough there will be a port of skyrim for our toasters
ReplyBethesda single-handedly sold me VR. I had no plans to buy until i saw this.
ReplyStill disagree with the choice to sell it at a full $60 release, again.
ReplyHow much can you milk one cow? Bethesda: here, let me show you.
ReplyPSVRユーザーはでかいVRタイトル発表に喜んでTESユーザーは未だにTES6を出さないことに怒ってるのね。だからベセスダのチャンネルでは低評価が多くてこっちは高評価が多いのか
Replyplaystation wins fatality
