Sekiro Shadows Die Twice – Second Corrupted Monk Boss Fight in Fountainhead – Ridiculous Cheese Way

Corrupted Monk is found the second time at the entrance to Fountainhead Palace after you defeated Owl. Access Fountainhead Palace through the cave at the Wedding cave Door idol in Ashina Depths. Just go into the tent. He has 3 phases. The first phase is like the version you met earlier. The second has him turning into black fog and the final one is a more aggressive version of the first. The cheese method will have you doing two stealth deathblow executions. These aren’t particulary easy and many times don’t work.

For the first one, run into the area and quickly grapple to the first tree on the right followed by the second one just down the bridge and then across to the left side for the third grapple. If the monk hasn’t seen you, you may be able to do an execution from above. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t. Let’s say it works. While he’s transforming into his second form quickly grapple back to the second branch, back to the third one and then back to the second one again. The monk may be invisible but he’s usually right in the middle of the bridge.

If you get the first two executions, spam firecrackers and hit him four times and repeat and you should have him stun locked until he’s dead.
