New Outlast 2 Insane Walkthough with new 1.03 patch. Many encounters are changed and older insane guides will lead you to death.

Full Outlast 2 insane difficulty step by step walkthough. Insane difficulty is the games hardest difficulty, Nightmare, without checkpoints. This means it’s permadeath and if you die you start over from the beginning. Completing the game on Insane difficulty while never reloading the camera battery will earn you two gold trophies, Prophet and Messiah.

I might actually play this game if it wasn’t for how much “in the dark” sections there are. I understand that darkness (aka lack of light not how evil something is) can play a large roll in setting up jump scares and just the overall mood but there is waaaaay too much of it in this game..imo. Maybe there are plenty of batteries on easy mode but I, much like many others, play on Normal (at least for the first playthrough..provided there is another) and from what I can see batteries are a scares commodity.
For those who like this game then good for you. I for one just can’t justify the cost (regardless of the price) because of how much of this game you can’t see. Plus, these “run and hide” horror games are really getting played out and need to stop..imo. Bring back the F.E.A.R games (like the first two not the 3rd one which was basically just a shooter with “horror/scary” undertones. The first two did very well, imo, on the scary (had some dark points yes but there wasn’t that many times) and the action.

did they change it so you start the run with a full battery now? in the school section with the jump scare you had a full battery. did you reload it on nightmare or do they give you a full battery now at the start of insane?
