About Me

Most people will know me as the person behind PS4Trophies on YouTube. My name is Brian  and I live in the Chicago area.  This website was built to support the YouTube channel . Here, you will find a portal to all my content as well as news and blog posts. This is just another way to provide more content for my fans

I started PS4Trophies on YouTube April 16th, 2013. This was not my first channel. I had operated another (much smaller) one for a year before that which is why you see videos for games that came out long before I started PS4Trophies.. I started making videos for various text written trophy guides I posted around the web, more specifically on PlayStationTrophies.org (you may know me as Wozamil over there). I loved making guides and there were several descriptions that I found needed a video guide instead of a written one. My first video was created using built in video recording for MLB 12 the Show. I loved being able to show a video for a game that I created and that’s when my passion for creating trophy guides in video form became a hobby.

My gaming history goes back a long ways. My parents owned some early days PC, that I couldn’t identify if I tried, and I loved playing the text based games on it. Shortly after, we got an Atari 2600 and I was addicted to cartridge based gaming. Looking back, the games were pretty awful, but it was a family event to sit down and take turns playing those early games. It’s something that I will always cherish.  Since that point, I have owned nearly every console including the Dreamcast and 3DO. But at no point did I have that feeling I had when playing the Atari until Sony released the first PlayStation. It was then that I feel in love with the Japanese gaming company and have stuck exclusively with Sony consoles, a streak that would remain until the Xbox One was released.

One of the most common questions I get is how many trophies do I have? I created a new PSN account for the release of the PS4. So if you look at my trophy card, it’s not exactly all that impressive. My PSN name while on the PS3 was Wozamil.

And here is my old card, under my other PSN ID (that’s a lot of trophies)

I have got a problem! Don’t really know who to ask, so i Will try here first. Couple of weeks ago i bought a PS4 with uncharted & doom. I did the game updates and played for a while. The PS started making a ticking sound, so i returned it and got a new one. Back home i finished doom, and saw i did not get the platinum. So i checked my doom trophies, the trophies i got on the first ps did not register, en it’s not possible to get the trophies again, so im stuck.

the weird part: my uncharted trophies are not lost.

    What can i do?

Holy crap, your old PSN name, I never knew that was you. We used to be friends on PSN around 10 years ago or so, you eventually removed me as your friend though. I’ve been using your guides for years and never knew that I once had you on my friends list!
